They must regard it as worse than racism , because they have not reacted this quickly when racist chants and abuse of players is put in front of them .The English national team was racially abused in Montenegro recently , don`t remember any part of a ground closure being announced .You are right though ,our fans need to wake up and smell the coffee , we are right in the spotlight now and the consequences for the club, if they continue, is frightening. I bet though that we hear all the songs at St Mirren tomorrow as an act of defiance .
Totally agree we’ll still hear the songs at St. Mirren. Those singing them will convince themselves they’re being ‘defiant’ but in reality some of the fans enjoy the bigotry too much for the good of our club. It’s about time we started taking more action against this instead of waiting to be punished by governing bodies.
