McBurnie can bolt. Out of contract next summer, he only had to hold off on signing a new contract and sign for us in January. he will now cost more than we will pay. By the time he is available again, if he has made it we can’t afford him. If he hasn’t, we won’t want him. We have Dallas, Mepudu, Hardie and Zak Rudden all pushing though.
So I suspect his time has come and gone. Pity, he should call Scott Allan and ask how many chances you get to play for the Famous!!
Yep, there are a lot of talented young forward players out on loan and in the reserves. Most of them performing at the minute too! Interesting to see where they fit into the grand plan.
Hardie now has 3 goals in 2 games, Dallas is scoring over a goal a game recently, Mepudu will sign a new contract or leave and Rudden is scoring for a team at the bottom of the league.
Nice to have options, although I would like us to try Shankland. Matbe loan him back for 18 months to see if he can score in the top league
