Rangers boss to wield the axe - Predicted XI v Ross County

Rangers manager Steven Gerrard leads his side back into action this weekend when they travel to Dingwall to face Ross County – and the Gers boss is likely to make changes to his side after losing to Hamilton on Wednesday. Several of his key players have failed to deliver so far in 2020 domestically and…

Surprised with possible exclusion of Aribo. He was one (of 3 with Barisic and Hagi) who played ok (not great) v Hamilton. I would drop Davis and play Jack in his role. WATP.

Goldson should be dropped for a while to focus his mind.

                            McGregor.

Patterson. Katic Edmundson. Barasic
Davis
Jack. Aribo
Hagi
Morelos. Kamberi

Goldson was horrid and deserves to be dropped. Horrid!

Prefer Gresleyman’s picks, although think Goldson is undroppable

  1. Time for a change. Shake the 5hit up a bit.
    McGregor
    Patterson Edmundson Katic Barisic
    Tavernier Jack Hagi Jones/Kent (Undecided)
    Kamberi Morelos

Think with the season pretty much done, I’d like to try something new. Maybe Bielsa’s 3-3-1-3 press formation, think it’s worth a try. 100% agree that Tavernier and Goldson should be dropped for the foreseeable future.

Katic | Edmundson | Barisic
Arfield | Jack | Davis
Hagi
Polster | Morelos | Kent

Jack sitting in just behind (possibly box to box role)
Arfield and Davis to play central / wing float
Hagi advanced midfield (possibly a false 9)
Polster & Kent playing as inside forwards

(if Polster isn’t performing in training, go with Kamberi)

Dotcom are you retarded or something, cause you talk pure shite, polster as a forward lol

I’d like to see the following 11:

Shagger

Patterson Fridge Katic Barisic

Jack Aribo

Arfield Hagi Kent

Buffalo

Arfield - not a traditional winger role, coming infield at times and sitting to the right of Hagi, or dropping back to cover for Patterson and/or Aribo bombing forward.

I think playing Hagi in his natural position would bring more out of him, and having 4 clear attackers with direct support from Aribo would cause opposition defences more problems. I’d also give Helander a run when he is fit.

Goldson on bench for a while, drop Tav completely and bring Polster into the 18 - he looked decent in his last outing. I wouldn’t hesitate to drop Buffalo either, of his form and attitude doesn’t improve. He needs to understand that he’s not going to get his megabucks move to the EPL that I’m sure he’s dreaming of if he can’t get into a Rangers team at the likes of Dingwall. Kamberi is not as able a forward, but is working his socks off.
