If we can get back this year’s outlay for Edumundson Aribo, Helander, etc and the initial outlay we spent on Morelos plus around 5 million extra to bring someone else in I would take it. So I reckon no less than around 12 million anything above that would be a bonus. You need to be aware last year he was a liability, it was worked out we lost around 15 points in games where Morelos was sent off or unavailable due to suspension, teams wanting to take the risk on buying him will rightly use this to reduce his price. Dembele had no disciplinery issues , he was picked for France and has loads of caps for under 21s he also played well in champions league and scored a few against us. Morelos could not even get into a poor Colombia team of 40 players and has not scored against Celtic. We should stop comparing Morelos with Dembele because he has not done enough to be on a par with him.

Totally agree with wee won’t get anymore than 15 max for him and a would defo take it ano he could get 30-40 goals this season but if he wants to really go this season and with his mate Daniel C away a think he will spit the dummy out like most South Americans when they dnt get there way replacing tav would be harder a think 
Don’t agree. Yes, he had disciplinary issues, but if you want to count the points we lost when he was sent off, you have to pair it with the games we won through his goals. Could someone else have scored all those goals? Maybe, but who and what would they cost?
Morelos wants to play in England, don’t blame him. But to do that, he needs to score goals this season and not get sent off. Possible? Ask Ryan Jack, who had plenty red cards two seasons ago and none last season.
Let’s keep him another year, get another 30+ goals and then a big fee next summer
As much as Morelos has the ability ,we all know that he is a liability ,regardless how many times we try to convince ourselves and make excuses for him, if we get close to 15m for him I would be delighted as long as and am sure Gerrard already has the man in mind lined up!

Anyway regardless stays or goes how good are we looking so far onwards and upwards fellow bears 
Some good points made here and for me the facts are:
- Morelos has proven he can score a barrel load of goals in Scotland
- He’s also proven he can’t control his emotions on the park (yet)
- He’s shown the potential to perform at a higher level, but he certainly hasn’t proven that yet
We could get around 10 mil for him right now I reckon, but that could double or more if he can sort his temperament and perform at the same level in the biggest games (ie Celtic and Europe).
I think the smart move is to hold out u less someone offers silly money - worst that can happen is we sell him next summer for the same money we’d be offered today
