Rangers boss Steven Gerrard might’ve admitted that his side has “no complaints” over the red card given to Alfredo Morelos by referee Don Robertson on Sunday. He might’ve even bit his lip when it came to complaining about other players not being punished for similar offences. But the Ibrox boss couldn’t resist criticising an over-eager…
Unfortunately, Donnelly got away with a terrible foul on Morelos…only a Yellow Card, which should have been red! The “Red Mist” from last season descended on Morelos, who spent the last 10 minutes of the first half trying to “get one in” on Donnelly in retaliation.
I can understand how he felt, after his goal went in…that’s one over you lot ( including supporters).
If he’s going to be a really successful player, at Rangers or elsewhere, he’s going to have to have a brain enema. He fell into the same trap that killed off our season last year…instead of taking it, and getting his own back by bashing in a few, he started to try to fight, then went daft gesturing to the Motherwell Fans!
He’s a terrific player, but “one card short of a full deck!”
