Rangers have announced the signing of Manchester City winger Brandon Barker – and handed Celtic a considerable psychological blow in the process. Rival boss Neil Lennon is known to be a fan of Barker having managed the youngster during his impressive loan-spell with Hibs. Barker was also on Celtic’s leaked transfer document which detailed a…

Surely it’s a bit embarrassing to be claiming you’ve “beat” your rivals to any player like it’s some form of accomplishment?.. I’d like to think my team does it’s talking on the pitch as titles are more important after-all.

My statement is even more relevant when said rivals have had zero contact with both Aribo and Barker and that their suggest “leaked” documents look as if they were printed from an old Epson 3340 printer and created on Open Office. It’s just more drivel to make fans believe that something has been overcome.

Barker was particularly poor during his stint at Hibernian and isn’t even likely to be a starter. Additionally, Celtic have not signed one player on that list and haven’t even had contact with any name that wasn’t already their own player other than Rakeem Harper.

Squirrels!.. They’re everywhere

“Beat” Celtic to a player they were offered at the beginning of the window and weren’t interested in. Hahahaha
Same as they weren’t in for Aribo. He was a name on a piece of paper. Didn’t once try to sign him.
The gullibillies strike again hahahaha

I think you’ll fin that Barkers name was on the leaked document, along with Joe Aribo
just keep banking your dosh and make Uncle Peter very rich…And,you’ll need a few quid for some other big pay outs…:grin::grin:

Not interested in Aribo? End of season you’ll be sick you weren’t.:uk::+1:

Hahahaha! He would not get into a Celtic and the guy runs like Theresa May dances.

The over-confidence is present as always but you’re going to lose your manager this year if he doesn’t win anything. Beating us at Ibrox twice won’t make a difference when you’re still struggling at Kilmarnock away (who are far weaker this season).

Psychological blow ? If that’s you criteria then the treble treble must have put a lot of you in the mad house.

Willis this is another non story, it’s getting embarrassing reading this stuff please stop. There is no evidence Celtic wanted these players, yes possibly they showed interest and possibly they thought of approaching them but they didn’t. Celtic knew 25 million was on the way and they probably could afford better. I think Rangers have bought well and I hope the guys we brought in do well. Willis stop the comparisons with Celtic, at its best this type of story is gutter press and sounds like my da is bigger than your da type of stuff, it’s juvenile writing and does not belong on this forum, give it a rest.
