He slides out feet first to scoop up the ball , which he has in his hands when the incident takes place .He keeps his head down and away to protect himself ,because Ferguson is clearly not pulling out ,and is not actually looking at the onrushing Aberdeen player when they clash . It looks bad but its not deliberate.
