According to a Daily Record report, Rangers and the eleven other Premiership clubs have accepted that it’s time to pull the plug on the 2019/20 season. All football in Scotland was halted in mid-March as a result of the global health crisis. The Championship, League One and League Two seasons have since been declared finished…
IF the season is being declared over then that’s fine. But it will forever be remembered as the season that wasn’t finished and therefore legitimately won. Celtic, if they had any modicum of decency would acknowledge that, i suspect they will not. The SPFL if they had any gumption would acknowledge that very point too but as we all know they are desperate to help Celtic get their 8 + 1 title sown up… We only have ourselves to blame for the post Christmas demise…otherwise it could have been ours!!
The SPFL and septic don’t know what decency is
Last Friday Rangers agreed with everyone that the season was over and accepted that Celtic should be declared champions. Why is this just coming out now? It gives the lie to those from the east that Rangers were hell bent on depriving them of the title. Or have I got this wrong, please enlighten me because my brain is frazzled with this!
Does seem to be some confusion here. It was suggested that all clubs discussed it on the 8th and agreed that there was no chance of restarting, but when the league was officially declared finished by SPFL today, Doncaster said clubs came to unanimous decision on Friday 15th.
Thanks Jordan, all cleared up.
