Painful display don’t know what else to say
Disaster. Katic, Kent and Morelos have been shite for weeks and we have thrown it away. We need to rethink the starting line up, too many players having off days, Katic at fault for both goals and looking suspect every game now. Even with a Killie win today (they wont) we’ve lost it. No Dubai next year, stay home and work for the title or else ten is the least of our worries
Watched it I thought I was on the Sc-Fi channel passing the ball to a player going forward 5 yards behind him really can only get better there is no room left for worse.
Got to disagree about Kent he was putting in the effort but Katic and Morelos were not present nothing was working for them.
Today perhaps Kent may have been excluded from the list, but one half decent game in 7 isn’t why we paid 7 million. 4 games from 7 we’ve dropped points from since we came back, Alf and Nico heads or hearts aren’t in it
not enough strength in depth. too many players not worried about their performance or effort levels cause they know they’ll still get game time anyway. the league is long gone and too many players have either chucked it or they just didn’t care that much in the first place!
We have been poor since the break. But the players care. They are just not playing well. We know they can all play better.
So the manager needs to be able to switch out off form players and he needs to switch tactics if we don’t have on-form players to match.
Kent was not great today but better then he has been. But why was he playing when he has been shite? Why send Davis on to slow the game down when we know defence is playing badly, so a 1 goal cushion may not be enough?
The league has gone. This summer, we need some dig in midfield, a quality forward (maybe Kamberi) and a more solid defence for next season. Also, our midfielders and wide men need to deliver goals consistently.
I agree Ski one goal is never enough especially on a bumpy pitch like they have. SG has some tough decisions to make, if he does not make them It’s out of Europe and out of the cup. That’s the long and the short of it.
