Former Rangers boss Mark Warburton has slammed what he calls the “unfair” treatment of former Rangers captain Lee Wallace at the club. Warburton has just signed Wallace for current club Queens Park Rangers [QPR], and the former Brentford boss has no doubt about his ability. Even if he has struggled for game time at Ibrox.…

Well said from Mark Warburton, however getting in cheap digs about rangers handling of situation when he has no knowledge of what actually happened is in my view not very clever. He said it was unfair and harsh on Lee maybe it was maybe it wasn’t, Mark Warburton will not know this unless directly involved, which he wasn’t . I do agree whatever happened Lee has been nothing short of a true professional. As for Lee playing at Wembley then nothing he was injured for a long time which he seems to have forgotten.

No -one seems to want to take into account that Lee has been suffering recurring groin injuries since his op 2 years ago, so I hope that at QPR he will get game time and get fit again. I wont criticise the club about how Lee was handled because just like Warburton I dont know the full story but I do think that the lack of a good luck message from the club reflects badly on us and gives the opportunity for more negative stories.
