Rocksport pundit Gerry Collins has sensationally claimed that Celtic turned down a move for Swedish international Filip Helander before Rangers pounced on the defender. Rangers signed Helander for £3m [Rangers.co.uk] from Serie A outfit Bologna with Steven Gerrard waxing lyrical about the defender. But Gerry Collins claims that Celtic turned down a move for Helander…
Collins wasn’t much of a footballer, wasn’t successful as a manager, so now he is giving it a try as a pundit. Coming up with a story that no-one else has heard! I am sure, of course, that he isn’t trying to get attention for himself!
The only thing that is of interest, is how well Helander performs for Rangers…
They seem to walk away from a lot of potential signings or vice-versa
Lustig couldn’t defend so certainly not a good benchmark
Is that the same lack of pace that lead to Lustic asking to be subbed at half time cause he couldn’t catch Ryan Kent
Saw him lying in his ain pish in the 1/4 gill many a time years ago. Him and Alex Mosson both.
A but at least it was his oan pish, now he’s talking it.
I’ve seen him play a lot over the years and he is incredibly slow…great on the ball but will be skinned alive anytime a team plays over the top of him…
