This is a ridiculous idea and the fact that it is led by Celtic tells you all you need to know .You do not improve standards by removing the Scottish refs from presumably the big games , you just piss them off and no-one will want to be a ref.You improve standards by improved coaching and mentoring , possibly by foreign ex refs , giving them VAR and making them accountable .There is on old boys club involved with the refs training and it is currently being run by guys who were not very good themselves . John Fleming was a shit ref so having him at the top can`t improve standards.The fact that we no longer have refs good enough to be selected for major International Finals indicates where we are and the damage that the Thompsons , Collums and McLeans have done to our reputation.

The game at the weekend was a joke as well. Ref was giving us nothing and the saints everything. Wasn’t a 50-50 that went our way.
