Keeping his discipline? Come on, he’s not being punished for lack of discipline or anything else. He picked up two yellows, the second was harsh.
The Pompey manager is simply not changing a winning tram and is right to do so.
For someone that normally writes informative articles, this is poor at best. By all means update us on RMcC, but don’t use words to suggest he’s done an, Alfredo!

Jackett came out last week and said that as soft as the second may have been, McCrorie put the referee in the position to send him off, that going down to 10 had been costly and that he needed to learn to control his frustration.
I think it’s fair to infer from that, that he wasn’t overly pleased with how Ross went about things on debut! I maintain that will have been part of the thinking on leaving him out yesterday.
Of course, keeping a winning team is part of it though, and I’ve mentioned that with his competitors scoring yesterday, he might sit out next week again, not as a punishment as such, but because of their form.

What position was he playing on the sending off as am I right in thinking this manager played him at full back not so long ago .

He was playing CDM when he was sent off on his debut. He got back into the team as a sub a fortnight ago at right-back and started there at the weekend. Strange one!
