A shameful comment made by a Sky Sports News anchor on Tuesday morning showed a concerning contempt for Scottish football ahead of a major rights change. Sky Sports currently share the broadcasting of the Scottish Premiership with BT Sport, but that’s soon set to change with exclusive rights going to the former from the 2020/21…
Was it contemptuous or was he just looking for a way to lead into the story about all the hype around Billy Gilmour ?
He chose the wrong words, has probably realised that already, and won’t make the same mistake again.
