Graeme Murty criticised the Rangers players who turned out in a friendly against Partick Thistle on Tuesday for failing with footballing fundamentals, as captured by RangersTV. A strong Gers side featuring six first-team players – Andy Firth, Jon Flanagan, Matt Polster, Brandon Barker, Jake Hastie and Jordan Jones – were defeated 2-1 at the Rangers…

Does not bode well for Jones or Hastie when we are looking for some wingers to step up.

We don’t play with actual wingers which is ridiculous considering how many we brought in. Kent in particular has to play on the left and get to the bye line, that’s his strength and we won’t play to it. SG has to abandon this philosophy and play to the strengths of the players available. Sorry for going off the issue at hand.
