Motherwell have confirmed that one supporter has been banned from Fir Park and another will be imminently after they threw objects at Rangers captain James Tavernier on Sunday. The Steelmen confirmed the ban on their website yesterday and the Fir Park side deserve credit for dealing with the incident quickly. (Photo by Ian MacNicol/Getty Images)…

Fair play to Motherwell. Now maybe they could find the people who attached Rangers players in the playoff match, like the one who hit Jig with a pole. But I won’t hold my breath.

They deserve no credit as they allowed it to happen in the first place.
As skibadly says Lee McCulloch was assaulted by a guy in that same section a couple of years ago and there is always aggro coming from there when we play them , yet there was no police or steward presence until after the lighter was thrown .
These clubs know where their troublemakers sit and they should increase stewarding before incidents happen , not after .
