There’s a number of things here.
Firstly, he is a Forest player, who clearly loves his club.
Secondly, if we were in that position, we would want him back.
Thirdly, the fans love him.
Fourthly, it’s only since the Celtic game that every fan here has sang his praises.
Finally, I’d love him to stay beyond his loan as well as to the end of the season, but he’s not our player. If his parent club come calling, we should thank him and wish him well.
Exactly, I dont think its a complete disaster if he does go. We still have McAuley and Katic. Personally Id rather see us playing Katic since he is our player, not a loan, we paid good money for him and he needs games to develop and improve. And McAuley is solid enough. Might mean we have to look at getting a 4th CB in but im sure we can find someone on loan as back up option if need be.
Would quite like to see Halkett come from Livingston. Out of contract in summer so can sign for us now, join in summer
