Daily Record journalist Keith Jackson has taken a parting shot at outgoing Rangers chairman Dave King for stepping down amid the domestic league shutdown. King officially stepped down as the chairman of Rangers this week after over four years in the role. The South Africa-based businessman first told supporters that he intended on stepping down…
Jackson is an absolute clown and it’s a ridiculous statement to make.
Dave King said on the 26th of November he would leave in 4 months he has honoured that.
If Dave King was washing his hands of Rangers he would have sold all his shares and cut all ties with Rangers, instead he has kept his shares and is still on the Retail board.
King was the Chairman of Rangers not a CEO but a chairman.
He is not the sole decision maker on matters of Rangers the board does.
He is not the only board member that puts money into the club either.
Typical Jackson and the rest of his unwashed followers takes a sentence out of a paragraph to justify a story, and as for the £10m shortfall, King stated “King’s investment vehicle Laird investments, has committed to meet any shortfall”.
The only eejits that listen to his drivel are the Eastenders, it doesn’t need to be the truth to please them as long as it’s bashing Rangers.
Jackson’s agenda just seems to get worse, the statements are that ridiculous now he has no credibility what so ever.
Jackson didn’t have any credibility to start with. Another piece of lazy journalism. At least it will keep the “let’s bash Rangers” brigade happy during the lockdown.
