On-loan Rangers defender Joe Worrall has told The Sun that he’ll be happy to return to Nottingham Forest in the summer. The 22-year-old is on a season-long loan deal at Ibrox but it sounds unlikely that will be extended. £30 million…in his dreams! He is potentially a good Centreback, but his ball control is rubbish, especially on Artificial pitches. He was hopeless at Livi (1st league encounter) and has been diabolical twice at Kilmarnock. Mind you, he wasn’t good at Dundee on grass!!
30 million is he on something illegal no worth keeping
Jeez, cut the guy some slack .He was obviously kidding when he said about signing him for £30 million . He was probably making a sarcastic comment on Notts Forest valuation of him , after all they refused a bid of £8 million or so from Burnley last January , then dropped him and let him go out on loan.He knows that if Rangers were interested then they would be looking for a huge amount for him. He did have a shocker in the earlier games on plastic against Livvy and Killie but he did alright on Saturday and was great in the OF game and against the sheep in midweek .He has been a bit in and out since he joined and is guilty of over playing at times , but he is a young guy and that is what you get with inexperience.Oh , and by the way he is not the only one who looks uncomfortable on plastic , we have struggled to play any football twice at Killie , once at Livvy and once at Hamilton this season and he was only a late sub against Accies.
Worst defender i’ve seen in a Rangers shirt in over 30 years. Offers nothing whatsoever - no threat at corners, slow and awkward on the ball and never looks for an inventful pass out of defence. I wouldn’t buy him for £30 never mind £30m.
