Billy Kirkwood’s appointment as Rangers’ loan manager seems to have coincided with increased performance levels from two loan stars. Both Greg Docherty and Joe Dodoo have been raising their game over the last month. Since Steven Gerrard announced that Kirkwood would be taking up a new full-time role involving the loan players, both Dodoo and…
I would have Docherty in front of Rossiter any day. I’m sure Rossiter is a gifted football player and he has been plagued by injuries and he is still young but at the moment he is fit and no where near the team. Dodoo for your Roma bloke? for me straight swap both were shipped off far too quickly. As for Worral he does not want to be playing for Rangers and David Bates wanted to stay. For me I love Gerrard as a manager he copes with the press in a professional manner, does not shirk his responsibilities and will make unpopular decisions if he feels it benefits the club. I think he is his own man and comes over as a very strong personality with a great footballing brain however Doddoo, Docherty and Bates were for me not the best decisions that were made. However if Dodoo and Docherty come back hungry and better players then that can only be a bonus however they may have been needed here with a long season ahead and that is a worry.
