Rangers are all set to take on Kilmarnock in a fifth round Scottish Cup replay this evening, but they won’t be doing so in front of a full house. Here’s how ticket sales are looking ahead of what Andy Halliday described as the biggest game of the season. There is availability right around the ground.…

Very bad judgement by Rangers over ticket pricing. They may have thought that because the game will not be live on TV, that they would sell out Ibrox.
I suspect there will be a surge of sales today or at the gate, as possibly some supporters have thought the game will be live on TV, and when they realise it isn’t on TV some might decide to go to Ibrox. But it will be far from full, that’s for sure.

Bad call Rangers, I am sure SG and the players would have much preferred a full house.

As its a cup tie , the gate money is split with Killie , therefore both clubs have to agree on a price reduction .I am told that the first game was £27 so possibly they would not agree to a reduced price. Killie would be anticipating a full house and making some good cash .It may have backfired on both clubs if the fans stay away .
It doesnt reflect discontent with anything other than forking out for an extra game not on the season tickets , cup ties have regularly had low crowds at Ibrox over the last few years . I also dont like this argument that the fans forked out for the first game and the team didnt win so they are costing the fans money .Shit happens and sometimes cup ties are drawn its just part of the game, we could easily have lost and been out of the cup.Would people prefer that. There would only be about 5000 Gers fans at the first game so what about the other 44,000 who didnt get to see that game who can now go to the replay.Fans can only afford what they can afford but lets stop turning this into some sort of fan rebellion story.
