If Mcaulay is the answer, then he has to play. Big davie held us together like glue so why not Gareth? If he’s fit enough and injury free, play him in games and rest during the week. Got to be worth the risk.If ahead comfortably in games then take him off and give him a rest. God willing, and we are the people, the gers will reap the rewards.
I really hope McAuley gets an extended run in the side i’d like to see a consistent pairing in central defense but i have the feeling it’ll be a lot more chopping and changing. Would love to see Worrall go back in January, he’s a bomb scare and not good enough to clean even Katic’s boots IMO
