Hot on the heels of our evaluation of Allan McGregor, another Gers ‘keeper, is under the Rangers News microscope. Wes Foderingham. Wes Foderingham saves a Will Grigg penalty in pre-season. (Photo by Ian MacNicol/Getty Images) Unfortunately, the former Swindon stopper has had a much worse time of it than his teammate. For the previous three…

I think it is a bit unfair to give Wes a C when he hasn’t done anything wrong. You admit he performed well in the games he has played, so i think a B would be fairer. hasn’t excelled, but C implies failure or “must do better”.

Aye mate you’re rite he’s not a c he’s a z he is shite I won’t be glad till he’s away he’s probably the in the top 3 worst keepers I’ve seen at rangers

For me, a C is the most neutral of grades, as after all, it’s still a pass. Personally, i’m working from a point of view that A is excellent (I gave McGregor an A* for being near flawless), B is very good, C is fair, D is poor and E very poor.

In my book, Foderingham simply hasn’t played enough to be warrant a spot among the B’s. Maybe a C+ because it has mainly been out of his hands.

McGregor saves us 12-15 points a season wes costs us 12-15 a season
