Moving on from Ryan Jack, we take a look at one of his midfield partners, Ross McCrorie. It has been an interesting season for the youngster, so far. During the early part of the season, he featured regularly in all competitions. He was quietly effective during those opening months, with the exception of the league…
I would rather have a good player than a fan.
BUT, if you have a good player who is a fan, you get that little bit extra, that insane desire to not lose. Look at the faces of the players against Celtic. They all loved it. But the Rangers fans, particularly those who unlike McGregor had not won before, Halliday(yes I know), Arfield, McCrorie, Jack, Middleton. Some of them didn’t know what to do, they were so dazed and happy. They didn’t want to eave the pitch because it would be over.
Halliday said he will take the memory of the last 10 minutes to his grave.
Kamara must be good or we would not want him. But that good? For me there is no contest. To take a Rangers fan’s jersey, you will have to be an awful lot better than him. Because he will not surrender it. You will have to tear it from his cold, dead hand!!
I’d be surprised if Steven Gerrard were to let McCrorie go…even on Loan? He’s one of the best young players in Scotland and his performance against Celtic was immense! It would also send out the wrong message about the Club’s future potential, to let Scotland’s Under 21’s Captain leave?
