Rangers secured a second-place finish in the Scottish Premiership with yesterday’s 2-0 win over Aberdeen – and Steven Gerrard should use two of the final three games to see just who is worth keeping around at Ibrox. The Rangers boss blasted a number of his fringe players for their performances in a bounce game with…

As things stand the game against Hibs is not meaningless , if Celtic lose at Pittodrie then we could still win the league if we win every game . Im sure that the manager already knows who is the current squad he doesnt want and the last 3 games won`t change that .The only one who he may be wondering about is Flanagan who has looked reasonable over the last few games . He will reduce the bloated squad by letting loanees go ( Worrall, Coulibaly , Kent ) and the 3 who he has criticised plus. McAuley, Wallace and possibly Dorrans .Most of the players out on loan will also go if possible ( Alnwick , Holt , Hodson , Dodoo , Herrera and maybe Rossiter and Docherty). Everybody currently involved will have a future next season.

I agree with all you have said but getting rid of Kent is not a good idea. If he can be kept or even signed the keep him he is the best winger I have seen since Laudrup. New blood needs to come in if he is starved of cash we will be in the same boat King has to find the cash and stop evading the issue. If he does not SG may become disalusioned with the whole gig, and chuck it.

We can’t expect King to spend money the club doesn’t have. That is why we are mixing loans, frees and a few good buys.
SG knew the deal coming in, he is getting on with it and has done well so far. I would like to keep Kent, let’s cross our fingers.
Keep the faith.
