Got the impression McCoist didn’t rate him, although there may have been discipline issues. Either way, he was a great loss at the time, he was a Blue and would have stayed if asked.

He would have left just like McCabe and Ness so he wouldn`t have come through the leagues .He got too much praise too early and it went to his head .Spending time in the lower leagues in England has made him the player he is now,He was superb today and Scotland have some outstanding midfield talent if Clarke can use it properly.
