I agree most of Dodds comments I think SG is too loyal to some players and has to put on his managers cap and be more ruthless you really can’t be friends with players they need to respect the manager or else. I think all the best managers in the world have got that but it has to be a balanced approach so that he commands respect from them as well, his decisions are for the good of the team and not the individual player’s. I hope SG has got this in him he’s not there to be liked but to win at all costs.
I’ve said a long time ago we have to rid ourselves with Morelos in fact i’m totally fed up with his antics, he thinks he’s bigger than the club and knows he walks back into the team when coming back from unprepared holidays, as for Tavernier he is not a captain of Rangers never should have been no leadership whatsoever Gerrard has mollycuddled both players when they cost us big games if our manager was Souness most of Saturday’s team wouldn’t be here…
We need consistency you can’t blow hot and cold. Hearts made us look pretty average at the weekend they pushed us back and we had not answer to this. When the two centre backs were pressed they did not look confident, Leverkusen will press. Possibly home and away so be ready.
I feel like it’s time to cut our losses with the likes of Morelos, Tav and Goldson (the latter two being shite leaders). Focus on our youth and get them some experience for the rest of this season. Bring in some new, hungry talent in the summer. Get that new (hopefully not overhyped) DOF to work.
