Whilst the main story was all about Rangers reaching the Betfred Cup final at Hampden after dismantling Hearts 3-0 in the semi, the subplot involving Steven Naismith wasn’t missed either. The former Rangers striker got over half an hour to make an impression against his old club but mustered a yellow card, a clash with…
He made his bed and now he needs to lie in it , it is too late to apologise , he held a press conference so it wasn`t an off the cuff remark .No-one expected him to stay but for a so called Rangers supporter to hold a presser to say what he did is unforgivable. His lack of loyalty to a club who had paid his wages through two long injury lay offs was sickening .I hate this guy more than any of the others and him and his duff pal Whittaker are the only two I could never accept playing for the club again.
As for Sunday , the first thing he did was elbow Goldson , stand over and abuse him when he was on the ground and then get Jack booked because of all his moaning and pointing. He does this against everybody and its not just the Rangers fans who boo him .
I actually thought he got less abuse than last season , as much as I hated all the deserters I do not care for any of them either way , all I will say is whitaker ness mccabe and naismith will not be invited to our party when we return to the summit.
He can rot in hell. Goian and Bocanegra showed class. They stood by the club in public, but had their agents explain they couldn’t play 4th division football. So they were put out on loan. BUT, at our time of greatest need, they publicly stood by the club. They were not died in the wool Rangers men, just classy.
The TBs(Traitorous Bstrds) ran, and will never be forgiven or forgotten.
We nursed Naismith through two near career ending injuries, and Ness through similar medical problems. Lafferty we defended in pubs the length and breadth of the country. Never forget how they repaid us.
Whittaker was different, he was no Bluenose, so I don’t care about him. But for “fans in jerseys” to betray us was, is and always will be unforgivable.
Ally McCoist was no great shakes as a manager, but without him holding it together with the likes of Big Jig and Lee Wallace, the 8th of December could never have happened.
Never forget those who stayed, or those who ran.
Yes! He could have TUPED over on the same wages for 12 months and got the club a fee,but then to hold that ridiculous press conference with Whittaker was the nail in the coffin. Is it a coincidence they both had the same agent, a Septic supporter who advised them to say Rangers are not the same club now? He filled his pockets with a signing on fee.F**k him and Whittaker!
