Former Rangers striker, Billy Dodds, has urged Steven Gerrard to sell Alfredo Morelos and James Tavernier during the next transfer window, as quoted by the Glasgow Times. With all football activity currently suspended amid a global health crisis, there’s uncertainty over whether or not the current Premiership campaign will be completed. NEWS | Joint Response…

I would have sold morelos a couple of years ago,it’s no use having a striker who doesn’t turn up for the big games, other strikers in the past have been sold for the same reason, flo for 1 example.
I don’t know about tavernier, he has been a great servant to the gers over the years,he has stood up and been counted when we needed a leader,he has made mistakes, but who hasn’t.

At last! Someone with some common sense! Billy Dodds is right!

Morelos is very good, but not much to anyone spending half a season suspended! If we can get £20 million plus for him, take it! Then get an alternative in that has more than
“half a brain”!

As for Tavernier, Jordan mentions that he can let you down, and mentions 3 instances this season. But, what about the gigantic disaster against Celtic last year. 10 men claw their way back into the game and the CAPTAIN gives away a goal with the most pathetic pass back ever seen! This is the guy who is supposed to be geeing up the rest of the team? How can/could he, when he’s the worst of the lot?? A dancing Ballerina, who can’t tackle!

There was talk of £4-8 million for him in January…if we can get £ 2 million now we’ll be very lucky!

We need to blood some of the fine youth players we have, including Ross McCrorie. They at least will play for the shirt!
