If your talking about players for a title challenge this season, Defoe and Davis win every time. They are proven talents that will do a great job for at least six months. Rangers need quality in now, not stars that might come good in a few years time.
Celtic on the other hand have a struggling Oliver Burke and Timothy Weah, who hasn’t proven himself at the top level. If your offered experience or youth on short term deals, you have to go with the older heads.
