Surely Stevie G would jump at the chance to leave the Gers to work with Mike Ashley!!! AS IF!!! This story is a complete NON STARTER.
Definitely a non starter, because Steve Gerrard himself has said he has no plans to leave Rangers and that MONEY IS NOT HIS MAIN MOTIVATION. He also stated that it does NOT LOOK GOOD ON ANY MANAGERS CV IF HE KEEPS LEAVING CLUBS EVERY COUPLE OF YEARS. He is a man of his word, and we should believe what he says. No doubr, one day–NOT IN THE NEXT FEW YEARS–he will apply for the Liverpool Managers job after Jurgen Klopp leaves–but there is no way that is going to happen within the next 4 or 5 years. We are safe for now–BUT–Rangers should not take advantageof his loyalty by paying him any less than they can afford.
