I recently visited dundee where ryan started and formed his style and persona . Nothing to do with is he any good for us ur saying ! Well perhaps a more stringint check on players background further than there performance on the park but right back to upbringing and anylise that would of told us a lot about some players we bought and indeed on how say certain previous managers perceive a players ability . I found Dundee nothing like I thought .it was cosmopolitan and clean and everyone polite .but I was in the riverside and not in estates .some people choose a path in there nature earlier on in life .U can’t take the boy out the council estate etc. Our own Alfredo is from a tough upbringing but off pitch a wee gem who sends his family back money not a teenage hooligan .and ryan who close to home we all know a great level headed boy .without naming names and to end what may sound like rambling on u don’t have to dig that deep to find certain overseas players currently on our books that were no users to begin with and being able to kick a ball isn’t enough to be allowed to wear our badge on and off the pitch
