There is no doubt that this season has been a disappointment in some ways. A terrible lack of consistency has led to us dropping a lot of points against teams that are not as good as us.
To balance against that, we have shown that we can live with Celtic. Tactical error in the first game aside, we have matched them. For the first time in 7 years.
I think it would be much easier to gain consistency than to improve a team that is not good enough.
So, on balance, I think we have improved. Over the summer, people who are not good enough will be weeded out. The squad will be strengthened. Next season, we go again. They will be stronger as well, they have not been that good. So fingers crossed Lennon gets the job

Why give this bitter oxygen thief a platform. He was never as good as Shearer so hes naturally a 2nd best sort of guy. Perfect fit for the cheats.

Let’s look at things here. Teams think Celtic are invincible, so stand off them, this suits Celtic and they beat teams. Killie, Aberdeen and Hibs always raise their game against Rangers, under Clarke and Lennon, these teams are up for Rangers, Aberdeen are only happy to perform when they play us.
As for Gerrard, money from Europe which we’ve not had in years, best Celtic, had Celtic fans whistling for full time in last game against us. He is transforming Rangers off the park, the training ground and Ibrox are being updated to help our players. I’d imagine he asked for full control and the board have backed him, it’s almost like Sir Alex in early Man Utd days.
Sutton knows Gerrard isn’t on the right track and is trying to taint Rangers fans minds, ignore him. The next two seasons we can judge him. For me, we are on the right track and Sutton is worried!!
