The Daily Record reports that at least two clubs are pushing for a major shake-up to the Scottish Premiership, which would affect Rangers. It’s alleged that Inverness Caley Thistle CEO, Scott Gardiner, is leading a charge for a 14-team top-flight from next season, as Scottish football attempts to coordinate a response to the global health…

I have no issue with a 14 team SPL, playing each other twice. Then splitting into two groups of 7. Top group play for title and Europe, bottom group play for 2 relegation and 1 play off place. Or 3 relegation if this is a one time answer to a temporary problem.
BUT, it should be understood that this is a response to an abandoned season, null and void. Otherwise, we play to the end and titles and relegation are settles as per existing rules. Only then could we look at future structures, probably with a season’s notice.
Incidentally, if this season is null and void, then I guess Septic’s consecutive title counter goes back to zero? Just asking for a friend:-)
