A Daily Record report shows Clare Whyte isn’t responsible for the latest round of farcical SFA decision-making. On Wednesday afternoon, Jon Flanagan was cited by the body for elbowing Scott Brown [STV]. He is now set to serve a two-match suspension. Yeah poor Clare , its not her fault .My backside ! How do you know that she even referred the Simunovic incident to the panel , where is the transparency that shows that all these incidents are referred .Also , it was her decision to refer Flanagan to the panel when he had already been booked , why has she done that when the ref saw it and made a decision .I`ll tell you why ,it was because of Brown and Lemon moaning in the press and no doubt her real boss Liewell putting the pressure on .She should resign as she knows nothing about football and has an affiliation with one particular club .
The report says that it was passed on to the panel, so taking that at face value. Agree it’s ridiculous that all this takes place behind closed doors and no one really knows the full extent of what’s going on. Point i’m trying to make though that in this case, it looks as though it’s an anonymous panel member to blame. Whyte cops a lot of stick and the SFA are facilitating that by not elaborating on who is actually on the panel making the final decisions on these things.
