Celtic stance on abuse of Rangers' Morelos shames Scottish football

If the immediate fall-out from Rangers’ utter dominance and eventual 2-1 win over Celtic on enemy soil wasn’t explosive enough, the lingering Scottish football aftermath has been nuclear. The one man who’s been on the receiving end of the bitter ire of Celtic, their cheerleaders and some of their supporters has been Rangers striker Alfredo…

A well written article but as long as as all these assholes can make shit up and pass it as the truth things will never change we should be ashamed of the reporting on Alfredo there are too many good people keeping quiet while they blab their crap unrelentingly it’s time we take a stand against those so called pundits and boycott their papers and tv.

Their stance on institutionalised child abuse at their boys club has long shamed Scotland , so their stance on racism should surprise no-one .Considering he has never scored against them and therefore in theory poses no threat when we play, it is astonishing how they have demonised him.
How a support who sings in support of the IRA can be offended by this gesture or Ryan Kents which is also apparently causing an issue is beyond belief .

In the space of a few months, it appears Morelos has been racially abused at both Tynecastle and Celtic Park. It is depressing to think, all those years ago, that bananas were thrown at Mark Walters at the very same two football grounds. It is perhaps something the media in this country would do well to highlight to ensure an open and honest conversation can take place on this issue. As it appears the issue has not gone away and both clubs need to do more.

Now I see, Michael Stewart is having a go at Rangers for defending Morelos. He should be reminded on how well Rangers Football Club handled the matter when the Kilmarnock manager said he was abused at Ibrox (bigotry) and how quickly the club reacted and issued an apology. There was none of this “we did not hear anything and nothing has been reported” nonsense coming out of Celtic Park
