Following a UEFA sanction and the resultant partial stadium closure last week [Rangers.co.uk], Rangers fans have been outspoken on the future direction of the club. Yet the club continues to be let down after they notified Rangers fans they will not be accepting away tickets to their next European match after yet another UEFA charge…
We need to get ahead of the curve here - no tickets for any away game domestic or European in the short term. Supporters clubs to accept full responsibility for supporters, all named and registered with RFC. In the knowledge that any infringements result in no tickets for anyone in the supporters club for future away matches. Only when all recipients of tickets for away games can be identified and hed responsible can we then resume taking tickets.
Cameras and direction finding microphones to identify anyone at Ibrox, with forfeiture of season ticket and 2 yr ban for first offence, life ban for second offence.
Draconian? Yes. But this has to stop and stop now. UEFA have to be persuaded that the club is not party to these offences or the vast majority will suffer.
The fact that this will financially hit some of the clubs that hate us is unfortunate, but we will just have to live with that
