Much of the build up to tomorrow’s Old Firm has centred around Alfredo Morelos and comments he made about his future this week. Naturally, this has had people asking who can replace such a vital player to Rangers if he is to leave in January. We’d probably rather leave these conversations till after tomorrow’s crunch…
He’s not left yet and would argue he isn’t leaving. As far as I’m aware theres no release clause,he may want England, but he needs another 6 months banging in goals to justify a premiership move. He’s on 20 right now, imagine the fee if he was on 30-40 come May.
Agreed. We should only sell in January if someone offers the kind of money you just can’t turn down, like £20+.
I believe if/when he gets to 30 goals we will get £20+ in the summer. But teams can get desperate in January, so we may get too big an offer to refuse
Personally I would like to see Solanke signed to play alongside Morelos not to replace him. If Morelos does go then we need to replace him with a permanent signing that is at least as good as Morelos and we need a similar quality permanent signing to play alongside him.
