For one current Rangers player, it was a night of success, for another potential target, it was a nightmare. Borna Barisic nabbed a confidence-boosting first Croatia goal. Not only will it give Borna a much-needed boost, but he’ll have done himself no harm in locking down the Croatian left-back slot for good. Rangers’ Croatian investment…
Shinnie showed last night probably why he was moved from full back into midfield where he is less exposed and can kick his way out of trouble .People had suggested that he was being signed to oust Barisic rather n play in midfield , last night showed that he has no chance of doing that and is in fact not good enough to move our club forward in either position.
Last night also destroyed the myth that is Scott McKenna , the idea that we lost anything when Bates left and that McBurnie will ever be anything more than a Rangers supporter .

Agree with each of your points. It will be a sad day if we can’t do better than Shinnie in any position. He adds aggression (thuggery) to midfield, but we need to target players who combine controlled aggression with skill.
Pity if McBurnie doesn’t make it, but he could have joined us for free this summer. Preferred to get a big paycheck and proclaim his love for us from afar.
