Rangers are reported to be interested in signing Ben Woodburn from Liverpool – and a move would surely spell the end for Ryan Hardie. According to the Scottish Sun, the Gers want to bring the Liverpool youngster in on loan after a disappointing spell with Sheffield United. (Photo by David Young/Action Plus via Getty Images)…
Bringing in Woodburn allows Hardie to go back out on loan to Livvy and get game time between now and the end of the season , which gives him a chance to impress and win a new deal . Sitting on the bench wont allow him to do that. I have a problem believing this rumour anyway , because we couldnt guarantee Woodburn game time which is what Liverpool will want after his unsuccessful time at Sheffield Utd.
Agree with first comment.
-We cannot guarantee him time unless Morelos leaves in January, which I would deem unlikely.
-Hardie should be away playing regularly anyway.
-IF Woodburn came, it would only be for 6 months so doesn’t impact on Hardie
-Hardie’s challengers are Dallas and Rudden once Morelos goes with Mepude possibly and ideally Shankland
