Former Rangers captain, Barry Ferguson, has had his say ahead of Saturday’s Old Firm. The ex-midfielder, who played 181 league matches for the Gers across two spells, believes it’s a must win. Don’t believe it’s a must win but important we don’t lose.
People have to remember we’ve probably got up to ten players out.
Included in that are all our attacking and goalscoring central mids, it is here that we suffer.
Morelos has lead the line but has no back up from other goal scorers, leaving teams having only to neutralise him to stifle us.
Forbear,
I agree that purely in terms of points, probably not a must win. Honours even tomorrow would still leave it open going into the second half of the season.
Think it’s really significant psychologically though. Last action before a three week break means there’s a lot of time for reflection after this one. If Rangers come out on top rather than sharing the points, could make a massive difference to belief levels in the squad.
