A game we should have never dropped points. Memories of Rugby Park last season with complacency setting in again. We need to put teams to the sword when we have them down and out. Still the unwashed had another lucky escape and their time for a few defeats is coming - hopefully starting on Sunday. We really missed Barisic and hope Katic takes Helander’s place as he is too slow on the ground. Keep believing though. WATP.
IMHO, a game is never won until you are three goals up. It is extremely unusual to come back from that. But a 2 goal lead becomes very shaky if they score, starts you worrying instead of playing football.
So you never take your foot off and relax until you are 3 goals to the good. We did, lost our rhythm and could not get it back. Bad night from an awesome start
After a great start, we ended up looking like a team from the bottom of the table! The fast moving inter passing of the first 30 minutes was replaced with the old “kick it anywhere” routine.
We had some terrible performances…Aribo vanished, Arfield disappeared after 30 minutes, poor Flanagan isn’t a left back and Ojo came on…or did he…I don’t think I saw him in the game?
