Rangers winger Jamie Murphy continued his fine form on-loan at Burton Albion with his fifth goal in seven games since joining the League One club [Soccerbase]. Murphy has been on fire at the Pirelli Stadium and his latest strike turned out to be the eventual winner in Burton’s 3-2 win over Southend United. The 30-year-old…

I think it may be different scoring for Burton than up here. These guys need game time somewhere so rather than having to let them go we keep them out there. I agree that Ojo has under performed but so has Kent. It’s not easy managing a big team and trying to keep everyone happy. It takes a special type of player with a special attitude. Only my thoughts.

I agree that Burton may not be SPL quality, but at least he is doing it. Barker, Ojo and others are not doing it. Docherty is doing it in the SPL having done it in EFL1, in fact he did better that Aribo for a worse team.
So let’s at least give them a decent run next season to see if they have something, same for McCrorie

I agree 100% skibaldy especially McCrorie he never put a foot wrong when he played he was just unlucky. Ojo will go back next year and the best of these guys out on loan will come back. Barker I don’t know, he does not impress, remember there is Florian Kamberi, SG has a lot of juggling to do the last thing he wants if for a good player to leave. Keeping everybody happy with game time is a difficult job, the fact that we have SG and G-Mac players will accept it from them. As these guys were European Cup winners, across the city there is NL who one the domino tournament at Gartcosh pensioners club. NL will have the same problem hanging on to some of his players next year. However, his job will be harder as these guys agents will tell them to move and go and source clubs for them. Therefore enhancing their commissions, also the fact that SG in world football is well known and respected. Very few people will have seen NL play this will not exactly be etched in their memories. Anyway onwards and upwards.

Scoring for Burton is one step forward, in the right direction. With the greatest of respect to Burton, scoring a few goals doesn’t signify Murphy is good enough (currently) to improve the Rangers team. If he does it consistently until the end of the season, then that would give him a basis upon which he could put forward a case for being part of Rangers first team squad.
I would love to see Jamie back at his best, which would be great for him and for Rangers. He still has a but of work to do to get there.
