So we never lost when Barry was captain? We never went ahead and then fell away and lost when he was playing ? We never got beaten and then criticised for being soft and not trying hard enough when he was captain ? I think he suffers from selective amnesia ?
What he had and we dont have now is guys like , Albertz ,Amoruso , Numan , Van Bronckhorst, Reyna , De Boer , Arveladze , Prso , Caniggia etc etc who had been there and done that and could produce world class moments to get us out of trouble at times. We cant afford that level of player now so though it is right the players be criticised when they lose, spare me these ex players comparing it with their days and slagging the guys off .These guys are trying to get the players back to the glory days that Ferguson and his mates took for granted .
