Hibs fans shown up by classy Rangers support after loan swap

The difference between the treatment of Rangers midfielder Greg Docherty and Hibs striker Florian Kamberi from their respective sets of fans after a reverse loan deal has been staggering. One is playing for one of his boyhood club’s rivals to try and earn a spot with the team he loves, the other is a continental…

FK has brought this nonsense on himself with his comments- how would any fan base respond to the comments he made when he still contracted to their club- I hope for his sake hes a success at Ibrox and scores loads to get signed permanently. :uk:

Greg Docherty is already a Hibernian fans favourite. They already have threads up on their Hibernian supporters websites campaigning to have Greg Docherty signed on a permanent basis. This proves the last articles about Middleton being treated so badly by Hibernian because he is a Rangers player, innacurate.
Also your knowledge of the real issue with Florian Kamberi is flawed. It has little to do with Rangers. It is to do with the fact that Florian Kamberi went running to Leeanne Dempster to get Neil Lennon sacked, at a time when Hibernian fans agreed Florian Kamberi was not pulling his weight. Don’t get me wrong, Hibs fans were also getting fed up with Neil Lennon. He had only won two games out of fifteen. But Leeanne Dempster took Florian Kamberis side, and Florian Kamberi continued to plod along not pulling his weight, eventually becoming nothing more than a substitute, playing second fiddle to Doidge. Hibernian fans all agreed on the Hibs websites, that as dissapointed as they were, with Florian Kamberi going to Rangers, they were infact happy for him to go to Rangers, to free up money for Marc McNulty. And Hibs are delighted with Greg Docherty. But they were already upset with Florian Kamberi, “before” he went to Rangers, as Hibs want to see a player try his best, and show he wants to wear the colours. Especially from a player, that was instrumental in a Hibs manager getting sacked. However, Florian Kamberi is still a Hibs player, and he is declaring his love for Rangers. This suggests he does not want to wear the Hibernian colours, and suggests he is only at Easter road for the money. The fact that it is Rangers, is little to do with it. The Hibs fans already agreed, by and large, that he could go to Rangers. It is to do with his lack of commitment. Do Rangers fans accept players that make it publically known they do not want to wear the Rangers colours? I think not. Because Rangers fans are passionate about their football club. Some of the most passionate in the world. And they love to see professionalism and commitment from their players, and only time will tell if Florian Kamberi is willing to live up to his words, and pull his weight anymore for Rangers, than he did for Hibs. Or, will he just start whinging and complaining to the board about Steven Gerrard as soon as he finds himself on the bench?
